Grass Is Greener Challenge Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: The Grass Is Greener Challenge ("Contest") is open to legal residents of Utah, United States who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and representatives of The Grass Is Greener Challenge, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

2. Sponsor: The Contest is sponsored by businesses who support the natural water cycle and having Grass and Plants in the landscape in the environent.

3. Agreement to Official Rules: By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.

4. Contest Period: The Contest begins on March 1st at 8:00 am. and ends on September 30 2025 at 5:00 pm. ("Contest Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible.

5. How to Enter: To enter the Contest, participants must [describe the entry process, e.g., submit a photo of their lawn, write an essay on the benefits of natural grass, etc.]. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

6. Prizes: Cash, In Kind Prizes: The winner will receive a $10,000 check to The contestant name.  Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor's sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.

7. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on creativity and adherence to the theme under the supervision of the Sponsor. Winners will be notified via: email, phone, social media, etc. within 5 days following the selection. The Sponsor shall have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for a winner's provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 5 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.

8. Rights Granted by You: By entering this Contest, you understand and agree that the Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of the Sponsor, and the Sponsor's licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, photo, portrait, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Contest, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

9. Terms & Conditions: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the Sponsor's control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, the Sponsor may select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.

10. Limitation of Liability: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant's participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries.

11. Disputes: THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF UTAH, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in UTAH having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall the participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than the participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Contest). The participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

12. Privacy Policy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Sponsor's website. To read the Privacy Policy.

13. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the winner's name or a copy of these Terms and Conditions, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Grass Is Greener Challenge 1539 North 2070 East Richfield UT 84701. Requests must be received no later than December 31 each year.

14. Social Media: The Contest hosted by the Grass Is Greener Challenge is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other social media platform.

15. By participating in the Contest, You, the Contestant, have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Official Rules.
